If your school is looking for a fundraiser that is all profit with no cost to the school, then a school fundraising idea for you would be a volunteer bake sale! Volunteers donate their time baking cookies for the school to sell at its bake sale. Once the cookies are baked and delivered to the school, more volunteers would assemble the products in displays and then sell them at the school fundraising bake sale.

Bring the fine cuisine and romantic atmosphere of Italy to your fundraiser. Sometimes if you are looking for a School Fundraising Idea you may just need to start thinking globally. Host an Italian dinner at your school’s cafeteria with wine tasting.
Wine tasting usually draws a large crowed and will drive more adults to show up and support your fundraiser. The Italian dinner will also provide people more knowledge about foreign cultures and may be used a learning tool.

Fundraising for a project doesn’t always happen over night. A lot of the time, depending on the size of the project and the amount of funds you need to collect, it could take years of perseverance to achieve your goal. Just ask the community of Middletown where the community and the school raised $55,000 for a new playground. The five-year fundraising project started with a group of PTA moms that had “a dream and no money”. They discussed how they could raise funds and through gif auctions and donations, they were able to raise the funds needed.

Two Crystal Lake Central High School students are making a difference in their community by fundraising to provide Eberhart Elementary with much needed gym supplies. The two 15-year old students were motivated to fundraise when they heard of an account of a student from Eberhart Elementary kicking around a tattered ball. So as a school project that would benefit the community, the two students decided to raise the money to buy sets of basketballs, volleyballs, footballs, soccer balls, hula hoops, playground balls, jump ropes, and other equipment.

Nicollet Elementary school is hosting a Carnival today. This fundraising event is complete with family fun games as well as a petting zoo. All of the money raised will go toward adding more technology in the classrooms and new playground equipment. We would even suggest buying a unique item such as Smencils to place on the admission table.

On Nov. 5, Whatcom Middle School caught fire around 1 a.m. The building, which has served Whatcom County kids for more than 100 years, received excessive fire and water damage. The student spirit, however, was not damaged.
Whatcom sixth-grade twins took it upon themselves to try to help the school recover some of what it lost. With the help of their mother, the twins were able to successfully fundraise $3,500 by standing outside the Barkley Village Haggen and asking people to help if possible. The twins even put in $92 from their own piggy banks.
