After school activities are important for children and for parents. For children, it provides them with time to socialize, read, play, and get their homework done. For parents, it provides them with a daycare service until they leave work. Recently fundraising has begun to keep a Marion Boys and Girls Club open. The goal is to fundraise $79,500 in three months, which should be enough to keep the club in operation until alternative funding is found.
