In Columbus Ohio a Christian school decided to run a cookie dough fundraiser where the students and staff would make the cookies instead of using pre-made dough. With a lot of planning and participation the fundraiser was a great success, cashing in at a total of $15,103.
The students took orders for cookies near the end of October and then took turns in the school’s kitchen baking the cookies the week of Thanksgiving. After all 29,434 cookies were made and assembled onto their respective trays, they were delivered.
A homemade cookie dough fundraiser is a great idea and yields high profit, but only if you have the time to do it. If you do not have the time, you could always use one of our cookie dough fundraisers where all you do is sell and distribute!
