Does your school have a golf team?
If you answered yes then this school fundraising idea could be one stroke away! Hailing to us from Foothill High in Pleasanton California comes Travis Rowney whose personal achievement of 54 birdies and one eagle raised $725!
Foothill High’s school fundraising event was a great success, it allows kids to go outside and play a sport they love while raising money for great causes. To start your own golf fundraiser, simply have your team collect pledges for the number of birdies (or in my case bogeys) made.
Travis donated half of his funds to the Frist Tee of the Tri-Valley, a group the makes golf accessible to all interested youths, and half to AJGA, a nonprofit organization dedicated to the overall growth and development of young men and women who aspire to earn college golf scholarships through competitive junior golf.
