There are many schools feeling a financial pinch due to the loss of much needed federal and state funding. Some schools are inventing some unique school fundraising ideas to help fill the lacuna of funds in the school’s budget.
Highland School will be hosting a hotdog and chili supper on Tuesday (11/10). Tickets for this fundraising event will be $5. The proceeds will help provide supplies for the teachers such as paper, ink, and cleaning supplies.
Highland School’s parent-teacher organization is helping to coordinate the meal. A few local businesses donated food for the event.
