The smoothie giant, Jamba Juice, launched a new fundraising campaign, which will return 10 percent of in-store sales to a local school PTA of choice. An additional 2 percent will be pass along to the National PTA.
To take part of this nationwide fundraising program, school PTAs must sign up by ordering free “swipe cards” from the company. These cards can be distributed to family and friends, or anyone who is a frequent Jamba Juice drinker. The cards are scanned by the cashier at the time the order is placed at which time 10 percent is automatically given back to the school the card is linked to.
This is not the only fundraising program Jamba Juice participates in. The smoothie giant also partakes in the School Appreciation Program where schools and other groups receive 20 percent of the sale if customers bring in flyers that were distributed to promote the event.
